You're probably already familiar with Skil's iconic Model 77 circular saw. The tool company was founded in 1924 and, by 1928, Skil was on its way into the tool industry's Hall of Fame with the E Model circular saw.
Since the 20's, Skil has continued to dominate the portable power and hand tool market. Skil manufactures top-grade power tools, including jigsaws, angle grinders, reciprocating saws, drilsl, circular saws, routers, and belt sanders. All of Skil's global manufacturing facilities are ISO certified. Skil recently merged with Bosch in 1992, creating the S-B Power Tool Company.
Fun Fact: The inspiration for the circular saw came from trying to figure out a way to make a mechanical machete for cutting sugar canes.
