By: Scott on 20 January 2024Why Bother - No Current Rating. Every electronic component should have a maximum current rating over which it doesn't perform as stated within the specifications. If, for example, the switch opens due to the heat from excessive current in the switch (not from the battery) a product designer would need to know this to help consider choosing a higher rated temp switch. - but how much higher?
