FAQ

Deilivery is a combination of procurement, picking, packing and dispatching your order.

Items generally arrive 3-12 working days for delivery to any state capital city.

4-14 working days for delivery to most large regional towns and 5-15 working days for delivery to other remote locations.

These delivery times are estimates only, and actual delivery times may vary. They vary due to type of deleivery, envelope, parcel, pallet, oversize etc.

Where demand is eceeding supply replentishment of stocks from major brand partners does also come into play. We make every effort to ensure supply is as fast as possible but our industry is yet to support online dropshipping which would speed up all orders on all brands. You can see that all retailers in our segment have a combination of stocks and order in as no physical bricks and morter store can hold more then a fixed quanity of any one brand.

During peak periods (Easter, Christmas and public holidays), deliveries will take longer.

Specific delivery dates or times are not offered by couriers.

At peak times being April-June and November-December we wil run a seperate page showing the deleivery to your door estimate.

Please scroll down to our “track your order” feature. You can enter your order ID, email address you entered for the order and the delivery postcode. You can then view the status of your order. If you are unable to view an update, please feel free to reach out to us via the contact us option below.

As we have multiple warehouses located across Australia, we are unable to currently facilitate pick up service. 


Please note, for batteries we might be able arrange a pick up based on the warehouse location and type of battery. Please reach out to us for further information on this.

If your product is listed with a fast dispatch badge, this means the product will dispatch within 48-72 hours.

With our other products, it will differ from item to item based on the allocated warehouse. So feel free to reach out to us to get an ETA on your dispatch.

If you missed a delivery please follow the instructions on the delivery card from our couriers or Australia Post.

Most likely a courier will take your order to the closest post office or courier depot, so please contact your local depot with your tracking number to see if your order is waiting. If delivery has been attempted multiple times, the courier or post office may return the item to us.

We will contact you for further instructions and dispatch again upon receipt of the appropriate second shipping charge. If the re-delivery charge remains unpaid for more than 30 days, your order will be deemed abandoned and may be offered for resale or otherwise disposed of.

This means the product will be dispatched within 48-72 hours of you placing the order.

A person at the delivery address must sign to receive the item – and Tools.com accepts this as an authorised order.

If you wish for your consignment to be left without a signature, please request this prior to dispatch.

After you have revived a tracking number  it may be up to 24 hours before teh various locations of progress are shown by the carrier.
