More infoThis beautiful washi incorporates Kozo bark in a variety of sizes, as well as a small number of longer Kozo strands, to create a beautiful visual effect when lit from behind.
When lit from the front, the bark and fibres serve to break up the area of the paper. The sheet itself has been left unbleached, giving at an earthy tone that is highlighted by the bark fragments.
This washi has been made from Kozo fibres from a variety of provenances, which makes it an economical option.
Material: Mixture of Japanese, Chinese and Thai Kozo, wood pulp and Abaka pulp
Handmade in Ogawa, Saitama, Japan.
