CV Boots Joints & Drive Shafts

CV (constant velocity) boots, joints, and drive shafts are components of a vehicle's suspension and drivetrain systems. While CV joints enable for the transmission of power from the engine to the wheels while compensating for suspension movement, CV boots are rubber covers that shield the CV joints from dirt and debris. Drive shafts provide engine torque to the wheels by connecting the transmission to the wheels. These parts must function properly for the drive system of a car, so they must be frequently inspected and changed if they get damaged.
