Fire Retardant

Workwear that is fire resistant is clothing made to withstand ignition and contain the spread of flames. Usually, textiles used to make these clothes—like cotton or polyester—have been chemically treated to make them fire resistant. People who operate in high-risk situations, such as the oil and gas industry, electrical work, welding, and other dangerous tasks, should wear fire retardant workwear. Work clothing that is fire resistant can add another layer of defence against fire danger and lessen the chance of burn damage.
