Jackets & Vests

When there is little light or poor visibility, hi-vis (high visibility) workplace vests and jackets are made to make the wearer extremely visible to others. These jackets and vests generally have reflective tape or striping and fluorescent colours, like vivid yellow or orange, to increase the wearer's visibility. They are frequently worn by employees in professions that require people to be able to see them clearly in order to ensure their safety, such as emergency services, transportation, or construction. The jackets and vests normally adhere to high-visibility clothing standards established by groups like the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). In order to offer safety and comfort in outdoor work conditions, they are often composed of strong, weather-resistant materials, such as polyester, and may have features like zipped pockets, adjustable cuffs, and hoods.
