Clamps & Vices

Tools for holding and securing an object in place include clamps and vices. Vices are used to keep an object in position while working on it or inspecting it, while clamps are often used to hold two objects together. To accommodate diverse objects and tasks, they are available in a variety of sizes and shapes. Bar clamps, C-clamps, and spring clamps are a few popular varieties of clamps. Bench vices, machine vices, and pipe vices are a few examples of vices.
